Publication Ethics

  1. Research submitted for publication in the journal must be original and has not been published in other journals
  2. There must be credibility and accuracy in the review and analysis of data and results in the given research.
  3. Authors should respect the intellectual property of earlier research.
  4. The researchers should adhere to the instructions and publishing rules established by the journal

Ethical Guidelines for Authors :

  1. Authors must righteously follow proper citation and intellectual property rights requirements. 
  2. The corresponding author must acquire named co-authors' approval to publication and to being named as a co-author. 
  3. Authors unconditionally acknowledge that the manuscript was not previously, in part or in whole, in any other form or language, and that the manuscript has not and will not be submitted, in part or in whole, to any other journal while still under review for this journal. If accepted, the manuscript shall not be published elsewhere, in part or in whole, in any other form or language without prior written consent of the publisher. 
  4. Researches published in this journal reflects the views of the authors and do not necessarily reflect those of the editorial board. Authors are fully responsible for the content of the research and for disclosing any professional or financial conflict of interest that may arise from the research.
  5. The researcher should avoid abuse or defamation of third parties under full legal responsibility. 
  6. Integrity and honesty must be considered when presenting and discussing research results without exaggeration. 
  7. It is forbidden to hide some of the results or vaguely displaying them in the published scientific paper. 
  8. It should be referred to the sponsor or the hosting institution of the research as a scientific reference. 
  9. -It is necessary to acknowledge the donor/financial sponsor of the research project if there is any.
  10. -Equality and respect in dealing with other researchers and research subjects should be considered and not to discriminate between them. The participants in the research have the right of keeping the confidentiality and privacy of the data and information collected from them, and to be utilized solely for scientific purposes. 
  11. The researcher should be ready to accountably, transparently and sufficiently respond to all possible inquiries concerning the study's procedures, results and recommendations.
  12. The researcher avoids giving any false data about his academic degrees and professional or academic affiliation. 
  13. The author has to refer to previous studies that may have concluded with different conflicting results to the results of the submitted manuscript. 

Ethical Guidelines for Peer Reviewers:

  1. -Peer reviewers should respond in no more than two weeks of receiving the manuscript, particularly if they would reject doing the review, and without intentional delay. 
  2. Peer reviewers must notify the editorial board if they do not have the relevant required expertise required to review the manuscript, or if they are able to review a part of it, with clear determination of that part for which they have the relevant expertise. 
  3. Peer reviewers must notify the editorial board of any potential conflicts of interest that may affect his impartiality and objectivity. 
  4. Peer reviewers should consider the confidentiality of the manuscript under review, and not discussing any of its details with others before its final publication, as well as, not communicating directly with the author regarding his research without prior approval and permission of the journal management. In all cases, peer reviewers may not exploit or benefit from the manuscript under review in any way for personal or others. 
  5. Peer reviewers must provide specified comments and suggestions concerning the manuscript overall a study in accordance with the criteria of scientific research arbitration.

 Ethical Guidelines for Editors: 

  1. Editors must ensure manuscripts' quality, and send them for peer review by reviewers who are suitably qualified within the specialization of the sent manuscript. 
  2. Editors, provided that well-reasoned justification is given, must respect and positively respond to authors' requests to exclude a certain reviewer.
  3. Editors must also require reviewers to reveal any potential conflict of interest before accepting to review a submission. 
  4. Editors must perform their duties by fulfilling the utmost fairness, integrity, and objectivity, according to the ethics of research and scientific publishing grounds. They must also allow authors a reasonable opportunity to respond to reviewers' comments.
